Globe Solar Energy Inc. (GSE) is a Toronto-based solar company that designs, manufactures and installs solar products especially solar thermal systems in Canada and the USA. GSE focuses on the leading technology – evacuated tube-based solar thermal products for the North American market. In the past four years, GSE is the fastest growing solar company in North America with 11 units installed in GTA in 2005, over 120 units installed in Ontario in 2006 and over 350 units installed in Canada in 2007. For 2008, GSE plans to sell over 1,500 solar thermal collector panels in North America, in which 1000 solar domestic water heating units will be installed in Southern Ontario. With GSE’s extensive experiences and in-depth resources, solar thermal applications in Canada will be quickly accelerated.

The founding members of Globe Solar Energy began by solving the unique technical challenges of using solar water heaters in cooler climates of southern Canada in 2002. Having achieved rigorous technological, environmental and cost objectives, we installed nearly 30 residential units in Greater Toronto Area during the summer of 2005.

Since then, the number and variety of Globe Solar Energy solar water heater installations grew rapidly. Using our powerful technical know-how and experience in solar thermal energy applications, we have extended our consultation, engineering, manufacturing and installation services to many more residential sites and a rapidly growing number commercial, industrial customers and agricultural sites of varying sizes.
